About the Job
Job Description:
- Ability to read and understand work order, fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Reading construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to listen well, follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively.
- Accurate and detail-oriented, with good mathematical skills.
- Ability to work with shop tools and machines safely and effectively.
- Self-motivated, able to work consistently and productively under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work full-time plus overtime as necessary, work in a shop environment with noise where you have to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry material that may be fifty (50) pounds or more.
- The position would require that the individual will be standing for long periods of time.
- Can work under pressure and time deadlines.
- Has the ability to understand and follow detailed instruction/directions.
- Can work with and meet deadlines.
- Accurate Measuring.
- Accurate Cutting.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
