About the Job
Job Description:
- Ability to read and understand work order, fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Reading construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to listen well, follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively
- Accurate and detail-oriented, with good mathematical skills
- Ability to work with shop tools and machines safely and effectively
- Self-motivated, able to work consistently and productively under minimal supervision
- Ability to work full-time plus overtime as necessary, work in a shop environment with noise where you have to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry material that may be fifty (50) pounds or more.
- The position would require that the individual will be standing for long periods of time.
- Can work under pressure and time deadlines
- Has the ability to understand and follow detailed instruction/directions
- Can work with and meet deadlines
- Accurate Measuring
- Accurate Cutting
- Maintain a clean and neat work area
- Other duties as assigned
